We are excited to announce a release update for Address Validation for Dataverse (Power Apps and Dynamics 365). The new release is already available on our website (fill out the form to request your download link) and on Microsoft App Source.
You will find below the list of the updates and new features delivered as part of this release.
Autocomplete controls : improved country list display and filter
What changed? In previous versions of the address auto-complete controls (excluding BingMaps and Google Maps), countries were displayed in a long drop down list and admins had the possibility to pick a default country. We have changed this experience, enabling admins to pick which countries they want to display, and which country they want to select by default.

What are the impacted components? This only applies for our Premium Controls, as well as Azure Maps.
What is the impact of existing customers? After you install the updated solution, you might want to update the control's configuration for it to display a reduced list of countries and preselect the one that they use the most. See configuration guide here : https://help.sharpxrm.com/kb/en/article/country-search-for-melissa-data-express-entry.
Option to display or hide the auto-complete control's address fields
What changed?
In previous versions, admins had to display the address auto-complete picker along with the address fields from the Sharp XRM Control. We have added a feature to hide the address fields and only display the auto-complete control. This allows configurators to have more flexibility with address field placement on the form.
What are the impacted components?
This applies to all auto-complete controls.
What is the impact of existing customers?
None. The feature is now available should you choose to use it. See configuration details on the documentation page : https://help.sharpxrm.com/kb/en/article/hidedisplay-address-fields-for-autocomplete-controls
Autocomplete controls : improved suite/apartment number selection on premium controls
What changed?
In previous versions, when an auto-complete control returned multiple units in the same address, they were all displayed in the list of results. We added a drilldown menu to make this experience better for end-users.

What are the impacted components?
Premium address auto-complete controls.
What is the impact of existing customers?
Organisations using the auto-complete control on their forms will automatically start seeing this feature in action after upgrading the solution.
Power Apps/Dynamics 365 language support
What changed?
In previous versions, when using the address auto-complete controls, the labels were always displayed in English. We will now display the label as per configured in Power Apps/Dynamics 365, in the language of the user.

What are the impacted components?
This applies to all auto-complete controls.
What is the impact of existing customers?
Double check your address field labels to make sure they display the proper name for each address field, in all enabled languages. Find more details regarding configuration on the documentation page https://help.sharpxrm.com/kb/en/article/updates-to-address-fields-display-names
Field Mapping Configuration improvements
What changed?
In previous versions, configurators and admins had to manually input the name of the entities/tables and fields/columns they wanted to use in workflows. We have added metadata autocomplete to make this experience faster and error proof.

What are the impacted components?
Field mapping Configuration entity's form.
What is the impact of existing customers?
None.
